Ethan started swim lessons this week, and I think the power has been going to his head! He was practicing his new moves in the bathtub the other night, and here are a few things that he said:
"Mom, you don't need to watch us anymore. I can keep an eye on Olivia, because I know swim lessons now." (By the way, I didn't fall for it. Mom still supervised.)
"Livi, if you want to get a toy, all you have to do is swim like this. (Scooting on his bottom across the tub while moving arms in swimming motion.) I can show you, because I know swim lessons."
Here are a few pictures from his first day of swim lessons! I wasn't allowed in, so I had to snap pictures from the other side of the fence. Yes, I was the crazy mom with my nose up against the fence the whole time!
Walking to the pool with his class for the first time! I can't believe my little boy is old enough to do this!
Again, sorry the pictures aren't that great. Remember, I was on the other side of the fence! Ethan is the little one who's NOT hanging on to the lifeguard for dear life.
Trying out the backfloat, aka the hippo!
Look at all those cute shivering kids getting ready to jump in!
I'm so proud of my little swimmer!
